Rhode Island Parrot Rescue is hard at work getting ready to move our flock into our new Rescue facility as soon as possible. But we realized upon moving that many of the existing cages for our large parrots are damaged beyond repair, so we decided to move in a different direction – of open aviaries. 

For 401Gives this year, RIPR would like to raise the $5,500 necessary to replace the cages for our largest residents with walk-in aviaries that are 86.5"L x 60.5"W x 80.39"H.

At a similar price of a typical large parrot cage, the aviary option will allow us to live our mission more clearly for the parrots that await new homes. #401Gives2Parrots #nocageistoolarge
